  • Drivers: name, email address, driving licence number, date of birth, address, mobile number.
  • DVLA data: licence status, endorsements, and entitlements returned by the DVLA API.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser/device information, and activity logs.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the licence checking service.
  • To send authorisation requests and confirmation emails to drivers.
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To maintain audit logs for compliance purposes.
  • To communicate with account holders about the service.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data under the following lawful bases:

  • Consent — drivers provide explicit consent before a licence check is run.
  • Contract — processing necessary to provide the service to account holders.
  • Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, service security, and audit logging.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following third parties as necessary to provide the service:

  • DVLA — to perform licence checks.
  • Stripe — to process payments.
  • Resend — to send transactional emails.
  • WorkOS — to manage authentication.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We retain driver licence check data for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
