LicenceCheck is operated by Envirologistics Consulting & Training Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a platform that allows businesses to request and manage driver licence checks via the DVLA.
By using LicenceCheck, you agree to:
You are responsible for obtaining written consent from each driver before submitting a licence check request. LicenceCheck provides a consent flow to assist with this, but the legal responsibility for obtaining valid consent rests with you as the employer.
Licence checks are purchased in token bundles. Tokens are non-refundable once purchased. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
In certain circumstances, the DVLA may return a 401 error code indicating that a driver's record is suppressed and cannot be released through the standard electronic ADD (Access to Driver Data) service. Where this occurs, the enquiry must be processed manually by the DVLA via a postal D906ADD request.
Manual checks of this nature are subject to an additional charge of £10.00 per enquiry, reflecting the additional administrative processing required. This charge is separate from the standard token-based pricing. You will be notified if a manual check is required and given the option to proceed before any additional charge is applied.
Licence check results are sourced directly from the DVLA. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in DVLA records. Results should not be the sole basis for employment decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Envirologistics Consulting & Training Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of LicenceCheck.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, misuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
